I don’t care if you’re organizing a 200+ guest traditional wedding with a live band and a huge reception or a small cabin elopement in the woods with 20 people - it’s a feat regardless. We started as husband and wife photo + video team, along the way we have had the opportunity to work side by side with so many amazing photographers and videographers. It was our natural course of action to take these connections . Rock and Love Weddings is our little family of photographers and videographers that have been trained to capture your moments just like we would. Creating this team has given us the wonderful honor of being able to serve more couples and families, turning more moments into memories which is truly our greatest joy. WHAT WILL IT BE LIKE TO WORK WITH YOU?Directing style: I won’t make you "pose." I'll give you hands-on direction, ask questions, lead you through some actions, and get you talking. I'll be documenting as we go, as you respond to me and to each other. In almost 10 years of shooting, I've found this is how I'm able to bring out the most natural dynamic between two people. Honestly, I just want you to have fun with me. Documenting: For most of the day, I keep it mostly documentary, just capturing what's happening as it happens. Portraits: In addition to photos of you two, I always take formal family & bridal party portraits. I know those matter.

WE’RE AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. IS THAT OKAY?There's nothing to worry about. Most of my couples tell me they feel awkward having their photo taken, even some of the ones that look really natural. I'm here to get you comfortable and to capture your natural dynamic. So as long as you trust me and you come with an open mind, you'll be great. Also, like I said, we're all weirdos. Let me capture your awkward weirdness too. I wouldn't want you to mask that.

DO YOU SHOOT DETAILS? & FAMILY PHOTOS?Yes and yes. I know you spent a lot of time on your details, flowers, decor, etc, and I'll make sure to document it all. I also think that family photos are important, so I always take formal family photos & bridal party photos. I just emphasize that candid moments and emotion are my priority, because I think those are the photos that matter the most.

SO HOW MUCH TIME WILL WE SPEND TAKING PHOTOS ON OUR WEDDING DAY?This mostly depends on your preferences and timeline. We'll talk to determine how you'd rather spend your time, and plan accordingly. Some couples don't want to spend much time away from their guests, so we do all their portraits in 30 minutes. Other couples want more alone time for themselves, so we spend 1- 2 hours away from guests doing photo stuff. I want to make sure you enjoy yourself, so I'm happy to help figure all this out.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED? DO YOU TRAVEL?We live between NYC and Miami and yes we travel for weddings all the time. Your wedding may or may not require a travel fee, depending on where/when it takes place. So just get in touch and I’ll give you the details.

DO YOU USE BACKUPS?Yes, I always bring backup digital gear, and your photos are backed up to 3 different locations.

WHEN WILL WE GET OUR IMAGES?No later than 6 weeks after your wedding.

HOW CAN WE BOOK YOU ?Luckily we all live in the internet era.. All the booking process is done electronically. It starts when a couple sends us an email inquiry. We always like to schedule a brief video call so we can all meet and share ideas. If a physical meeting is possible, we can meet over coffee or drinks. Once we have met and talked about ideas and both of our styles match, we will send our contract draft by email for approval along with the request for the deposit amount to reserve our services. Once approved, couples send over the signed contract by email along with proof of deposit payment. Once all is received, your date is officially booked in our calendar.
